C2C Workshop
Lesson six introduces the method of Join As You Go (JAYG)
The C2C JAYG is great for when you want the patchwork look but not the sewing that comes with it. You can arrange color blocks in any number of ways to create bold designs with the classic corner to corner stitch. You can also create a checkerboard or buffalo plaid style afghan with this method.
The blog The Patchwork Heart has a good tutorial with step by step photos. Please note that this tutorial uses UK terms, but it is easy enough to use when you remember that the Treble Crochet (Tc) is the equivalent of the Double Crochet (Dc) in US terms.

Fiber Spider has a great video tutorial on YouTube for the C2C JAYG method.
